Ensure Technologies Press Releases

Ensure Technologies offers a no-cost recycling program for its products.

Ann Arbor, MI – March 28, 2012. Ensure Technologies today announces a new product recycling program available at no cost to its customers. Customers can now send their used hardware back to Ensure Technologies for proper recycling and recovery at the end of the product life cycle.

In compliance with the European Union Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and several state and local recycling initiatives, Ensure Technologies will mark its hardware products with the “Wheelie Bin” logo, a crossed-out, wheeled garbage bin signifying the implementation of a take-back program. Ensure Technologies products are RoHS compliant, in conformance with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive established by the European Union (E.U.). This directive prohibits the manufacturing, sales, and distribution of products containing lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chrome, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE).
