When it comes to protecting and securing patient health information, medical clinics have the same challenges as hospitals – and potentially more given the volume of patients that come and go each day.  Maintaining security policies that result in strong HIPAA compliance, and allowing clinical staff to operate efficiently during and between patient visits, are important goals that don’t need to be traded off against each other.
