SENTILLION AND ENSURE TECHNOLOGIES PARTNER TO BRING PROXIMITY-BASED ACCESS MANAGEMENT SOLUTION TO THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY

Under the terms of the agreement Sentillion will integrate, distribute and support Ensure's patented XyLoc™ technology with Sentillion's Vergence® product suite to deliver a superior level of identity and access management products to the healthcare industry.

The combination of Vergence's strong authentication, single sign-on, single sign-off, context management and privacy auditing functionality with Ensure's proximity-based technology enables quick and convenient access to patient information as well as automatic single sign-off of all applications. This combined solution enables a caregiver to approach a PC, quickly and easily authenticate and log into the applications required to treat the patient, and then have the PC and applications automatically secured when the caregiver walks out of range. In addition to enabling an increased level of convenience to the HIPAA sign-off requirement, caregivers can now achieve a balance between quality of care and privacy.
