Arbor, Mich., September 20, 2000 –
Ensure Technologies, the award-winning leader in intelligent
wireless PC security solutions, has been invited by IBM to
present at a series of security solutions briefings in more
than 20 cities around the world. Technology security experts
from Ensure and other security leaders will meet with local
businesses to discuss the growth of electronic transactions
created by international legislation, and analyze and forecast
the impact of Internet security breaches and solutions now
available.
The sessions
will take a new approach to network security, focusing on
the PC as a portal to the network and emphasizing the need
to toughen networks and personal computers against internal
security breaches. The Worldwide Security Solutions tour will
focus on issues in banking, finance, healthcare and government
that require new tools and strategies to guard corporate data,
protect the integrity of Internet transactions and provide
a trusted environment for e-business. The sessions will highlight
a range of security technologies, including proximity badge
readers, enterprise security software, embedded security,
Internet protocol security and biometric devices such as fingerprint
readers.
"We
are pleased to have the opportunity to discuss the future
of network security with industry leaders like IBM, Intel
and Microsoft," said George Brostoff, co-founder and president

I believe we will help others see that to keep the network
secure, all PCs must themselves be secure. We look forward
to demonstrating how our XyLoc™ system secures personal computers
automatically and conveniently while also making them more
personalized and easy to use."

managed, automatic computer security solution that prevents
unauthorized access to confidential PC-based information,
and simultaneously makes access to network services and applications
more convenient for authorized employees. XyLoc's full-time

is most vulnerable - after logon, when the authorized user
- for whatever reason - steps away from the PC.
Suited
for professionals who need easy, yet secure, access to information
"on the fly," XyLoc is proximity-activated and completely
"hands-free," requiring no user interaction. Because it enables
the computer to know automatically and effortlessly who is
requesting access to its resources, XyLoc offers security
features and flexibility previously unavailable. XyLoc also
simplifies PKI implementations and protects digital certificates
stored on PCs increasing the security of e-commerce transactions.
Ensure
is an associate member of the Bluetooth Special Interest
Group (SIG), a group working toward a wireless technology
specification that provides links between mobile computers,
mobile phones and other portable and handheld devices, and
connectivity to the Internet. As more Bluetooth devices
come to market, security will become essential to protect
these devices from unauthorized access. Using XyLoc's patented
technology, network managers can easily load and manage digital
certificates on any Bluetooth PC, phone or PDA, which
