ENSURE TECHNOLOGIES' XYLOC ADDED TO COMPAQ'S FEDERAL PCHS CONTRACT

Compaq's Federal Government Procurement Contract to Supply Ensure's XyLoc Wireless PC Security Solution to Veterans Administration and Other Government Agencies

Ann Arbor, Mich., November 6, 2001 – Ensure Technologies, the award-winning leader in intelligent digital information security solutions, today announced with Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE: CPQ) that Ensure's XyLoc wireless PC security solution is now available through Compaq's Procurement of Computer Hardware and Software (PCHS) contract, held by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the world's largest healthcare organization and second largest government agency. Ensure's XyLoc is the leading wireless PC security solution available under the PCHS contract to conveniently and automatically protect confidential information and patient records at VA hospitals and other agencies throughout the U.S.

Ensure's XyLoc wireless security will be supplied along with other Compaq PCHS offerings, such as desktop and portable PCs, servers, monitors, peripherals and software, to the Department of Veterans Affairs and other civilian agencies as well as Department of Defense customers.

The PCHS contract supplies commercial computer hardware and software to the VA and other government and civilian agencies to improve efficiency and productivity and reduce costs. Products included on the PCHS contract include a full line of leading edge PCs and best-in-class software, information security, printer and system options. In addition, PCHS also includes scanners, multi-media devices and accessories, office automation software, off-the-shelf solution packages and installation services.
