Companies to Co-Develop Wireless PC Security Technology for New Line of Ologi Wristwatches That Merge Technology and Timekeeping

Ann Arbor, MI and Oakland, CA, August 15, 2000 – Ensure Technologies, the award-winning leader in intelligent PC security solutions, and Golden State International (GSI), a manufacturer of licensed and private label watch collections, today announced a strategic technology partnership. Ensure and GSI will co-develop a line of wristwatches that incorporate Ensure's patented wireless PC security technology with GSI's Ologi™ brand of next-generation technology-based wristwatches.

Under the terms of the agreement, GSI will license Ensure's XyLoc™ wireless security and personalization technology to extend the functionality of their Ologi multi-function watches. The XyLoc technology will give users advanced technology capabilities including wireless security and personalization of their PCs. Existing XyLoc users will also be given an additional form factor of the XyLoc key - a watch - to use for securing their PCs.

The Ologi/XyLoc watch will be designed for use with Ensure's XyLoc wireless PC security solution. XyLoc enables the computer to know automatically and effortlessly who is requesting access to its resources, which delivers a level of personalization and convenience previously unavailable.

Ologi was created to celebrate the new - from what is forward in fashion to what is feasible through the world of high tech. The Ologi brand debuted in March 2000 to give consumers an affordable and innovative option in the fashion-watch category. XyLoc's unique, full-time access control technology protects confidential data when it is most vulnerable - after logon, when the authorized user - for whatever reason - steps away from the PC. Pricing and Availability

The Ologi/XyLoc watch will be rolled out in phases beginning with a beta test period in the Winter 2000 timeframe. Pricing will be announced at that time.
