DENNIS BLANCHETTE NAMED PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF ENSURE TECHNOLOGIES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – ANN ARBOR, MICH. – December 7, 2006 – Ensure Technologies, pioneer of the XyLoc family of network security products, announced Dennis Blanchette, a seasoned high-tech executive, has been named president and chief executive officer.

Blanchette, who joined Ensure in October, will drive the company’s growth by developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic plans aimed at delivering innovative security solutions to customers.  Blanchette plans to help Ensure, a leader in healthcare network security, move into new markets, such as financial, energy and pharmaceutical, where seamless network security and user authorization are a priority. He succeeds Dr. Tom Xydis who passed away last summer.

Prior to joining Ensure, Blanchette was principle of D. Blanchette & Associates, where he provided leadership and strategic counseling to several entrepreneurial organizations. Formerly, he served as president and chief executive officer of Ann Arbor-based Pier 3 Technologies and spent three years as chief operating officer of Wise Solutions, which has since been acquired by Altiris Incorporated.

Blanchette, a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, also brings expertise in sales, marketing, and business development. He is actively involved with the Ann Arbor SPARK Business Accelerator program and serves on the board of the Ann Arbor IT Zone.

Ensure’s XyLoc product line, which brings convenience to network security by recognizing authorized users, unlocking the computer as they approach, and locking it again as they walk away, credits its recent success to the increase in its use by hospitals and other large, or enterprise, groups.
