Dennis Blanchette
President and Chief Executive Officer
Dennis Blanchette joined Ensure Technologies in October 2006
as President and CEO. He oversees the company’s strategic direction
and execution to drive growth and deliver innovative customer solutions.
Prior to joining Ensure, Blanchette was Principle of D. Blanchette & Associates,
a business advisory firm serving entrepreneurial growth companies. Previously,
Mr. Blanchette was President and CEO of Pier 3 Technologies, Inc., a technology
start up specializing in hand-held technology for the travel and tourism industry.
While at Pier 3 Technologies, Blanchette was involved with the company’s formation,
strategic planning and funding initiatives.
From 1999 to April of 2004, Blanchette was with Wise Solutions, Inc., now a
subsidiary of Altiris Incorporated, and a leader in IT lifecycle management.
Blanchette joined Wise Solutions in 1999 as Vice President of Sales and
Professional Services and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer after one year.
He was instrumental in negotiating the $43M sale of Wise Solutions to Altiris. As
COO, of Wise Solutions, Blanchette was responsible for providing world wide
strategic and operational direction to product development, product management,
marketing, sales and professional services. He led the growth of the organization
from $4.5M in 1999 to more than $21M in 2003. During the same time, the company
received numerous awards such as: INC. 500’s fastest Growing Companies, Metropolitan
Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, Ernst and Young Entrepreneur
of the Year, and numerous Readers’ Choice awards for best technology.
Prior to joining Wise Solutions, Inc.,
Blanchette served in various senior sales and business development positions focused on
start up initiatives and implementing successful revenue generating programs for leading
global organizations such as Kraft Incorporated, Marriott Incorporated, Society of
Manufacturing Engineers, Ernst and Young LLP and Intelligroup, Inc. Blanchette also
serves as an advisor to Dynamic Computer based in Farmington Hills, MI and is a board
member of the Ann Arbor I. T. Zone. In addition, he is actively involved with fundraising
initiatives for many community and charitable organizations. Blanchette earned a Bachelor
of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University.
Susan Olson
Director of Strategic Alliances and Marketing
Susan Olson
joined Ensure Technologies in May of 2007 as Director of Strategic Alliances and Marketing.
Susan is an experienced marketing professional with diverse experience
in technology companies. Most recently, Sue was Director of Strategic
Alliances at Blue Willow Group, a Houston-based IT consulting firm,
developing partnership programs and channel marketing with Dell,
Altiris, HP, and Microsoft. Previously, she was Strategic Accounts
Manager with Altiris, an IT lifecycle management company, and Wise
Solutions, which Altiris acquired. In those roles she established and
grew partner relationships with Dell, HP, CSC, and numerous smaller
partners throughout North America. Sue began her career with MCI
Telecommunications in Washington DC, where she worked with Department
of Defense clients; local, state and federal government clients; and
international data communications. Sue holds a bachelors degree in
industrial management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue
University.
