“Ensure

last September and we’re pleased to see Ensure nominated for
a Mobility Award,” said Theresa Nozick, industry analyst,
Mobile Insights. “With the continued proliferation of laptops,
PDAs and other mobile computing and communication devices,

security for a range of mobile computing device while its
involvement in the Bluetooth Special Interest Group
is further evidence of its commitment to mobile users.”

“We are
honored to have been nominated for the Mobility Award,” said
George Brostoff, co-founder and president of Ensure Technologies.
“Mobility is making great strides in productivity but in some
cases leaving bigger gaps in security and Mobile Insights
2001 is a great forum for discussing these issues. XyLoc goes
far in addressing the security concerns for portable computers
and our Bluetooth solution will bring better security to PDAs,
mobile phones and other mobile devices.”
XyLoc
is a patented computer security and personalization solution
that prevents unauthorized access to confidential company
data, and simultaneously makes access to network services
and business applications more convenient for authorized employees.
XyLoc enables the computer to know automatically and effortlessly
who is requesting access to its resources, which delivers
a level of personalization and convenience previously unavailable.
XyLoc’s
unique, full-time access control technology protects confidential
data when it is most vulnerable – after logon, when the authorized
user – for whatever reason – steps away from the PC. Suited
for professionals who need easy, yet secure, access to information
“on the fly,” XyLoc is proximity-activated and completely
“hands-free,” requiring no user interaction.
Ensure
is an associate member of the Bluetooth Special
Interest Group (SIG), a group working toward a wireless technology
specification that provides links between mobile computers,
mobile phones and other portable and handheld devices, and
connectivity to the Internet. As more Bluetooth devices
come to market, security will become essential to protect
these devices from unauthorized access. Using XyLoc’s patented
technology, network managers can easily load and manage digital
certificates on any Bluetooth PC, phone or PDA, which
will add powerful security features to Bluetooth devices
and appliances.
