PARTNER PROGRAM MANAGER AT LEADING HEALTHCARE DESKTOP
SECURITY PROVIDER HONORED AS WOMAN OF THE YEAR
Local chapter of the American Business Women’s Association
Honors Mary Shindell as their Woman of the Year
YPSILANTI, MICH.
– June 17, 2008 – Ensure Technologies, pioneer of the XyLoc
family of desktop security products, announced Mary Shindell has
been honored by the local chapter of the American Business
Women’s Association as their Woman of the Year.
Shindell, an 18 year member of the Maia
Chapter of ABWA in Ann Arbor, was recognized by chapter members
for her significant contributions throughout her membership. She
has served on the chapter board eight years and three years as
President. Currently, she is serving her second year as
Treasurer. The Woman of the Year program was designed so
chapters could recognize a member who has made notable
contributions and outstanding achievements. Being named Woman of
the Year is a great honor — one that’s highly respected by ABWA
members.
Shindell has been with Ensure Technologies
since 2004 as the Partner Program Manager. She is responsible
for the activities surrounding strategic alliances, including
partner channel sales, resellers and technology integration
partners. She continues to promote Ensure, a leader in strong
authentication for the healthcare industry, by developing
valuable programs to assist partners in achieving continued
success with the XyLoc products, and move into new markets, such
as financial, energy and pharmaceutical, where seamless network
security and user authorization are a priority.
“This award recognizes Mary’s ability to
maintain a high level of success in her daily job
responsibilities as well as in her professional community,” says
Sue Olson, Shindell’s supervisor and Ensure’s Director of
Strategic Alliances and Marketing. “We’re proud of her
contributions to the American Business Women’s Association.”
Mary
Shindell holds an MA in Guidance and Counseling from the
University of Michigan, School of Education, and a BA in
Psychology, with Teaching Credential, from the University of
Michigan - Flint.
Ensure Technologies’ XyLoc product line
utilizes patented RF technology to
bring convenience to desktop security by recognizing
authorized users, unlocking the computer as they approach, and
locking it again as they walk away. Ensure credits its recent
success to the increase in its use by hospitals and other large,
or enterprise, groups.
